 Bored Pile Testing (ဘိုးပိုင်ခံနိုင်အားနှင့် အရည်အသွေးစမ်းသပ်ခြင်း)

Bored pile foundation လုပ်ငန်းပြီးစီးတဲ့အခါ Bored pile quality အရည်အသွေးစမ်းသပ်ခြင်းအမျိုးမျိုးကို သတ်မှတ် specification နှင့် အညီ ပြုလုပ်ကြရပါတယ်။ Bored Pile Testing ပြုလုပ်ရာတွင် အလေး၀န်ထမ်းဆောင်နိုင်မှု load bearing capacity, strength & performance ကို စစ်ဆေးခြင်း (Pile load test) နှင့်  Pile concrete ကွန်ကရစ်သားအပြစ်အနာအဆာရှိမရှိစစ်ဆေးခြင်း (Pile integrity test / Pile continuity test) ဟူ၍ အဓိကအားဖြင့် နှစ်မျိုးရှိပါသည်။ Bored pile လုပ်ငန်းကို စနစ်တကျသေချာပြုလုပ်ကြပေမယ့် အရည်အသွေးနှင့် အလေး၀န်ခံနိုင်မှုမှာ မသေချာမှု (Uncertainty) ရှိနိုင်သဖြင့် စမ်းသပ်စစ်ဆေးမှု မဖြစ်မနေပြုလုပ်ကြရပါသည်။ 

✔️HPBC guideline အရ စမ်းသပ်ရမည့် Bored Pile Test အမျိုးအစားနှင့်အကြိမ်အရေအတွက်မှာ အောက်ပါအတိုင်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။ 

🔹Minimum Number of Pile Load Tests for Bored pile

-Instrumental / Ultimate load Test- 1 Nos

-Working Load Test 1% of Total Number of Bored Piles

-Integrity Test 50% of Total Number of Bored Piles

 📌Working Load Test (WLT) ဆိုတာ Designer သတ်မှတ်ထားတဲ့ Load ကိုထမ်းနိုင်မနိုင် စမ်းသပ်ခြင်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ HPBC guidelines အရ Design load ရဲ့ ၂ဆ working load (or as per design specification) တင်၍ စမ်းသပ်လေ့ရှိပြီး Allowable settlement ရှိမရှိ စစ်ဆေးကြပါသည်။

📌Ultimate Load Test (ULT) ဆိုတာကတော့ Pile ရဲ့ အဆုံးစွန် ထမ်းနိုင်အားကို စမ်းသပ်ခြင်းဖြစ်ပြီး Design load ၃ဆ (or as per design specification) ထိတင်၍ excessive settlement သို့မဟုတ် Pile failure ဖြစ်တဲ့ အထိ စမ်းသပ်ကြပါတယ်။

☘️ Pile Load Test

Static Load Test နှင့် Dynamic Load Test ဆိုပြီး Pile Load Test နှစ်မျိုးခွဲခြားနိုင်ပါသည်။  Static Load Test များမှာ အလေးဝန်နှင့် ဖိချစမ်းသပ်ခြင်း (Compression Test), ဆွဲအားဖြင့်စမ်းသပ်ခြင်း  (Tension test/ pullout load test) နှင့် ဘေးတိုက်တွန်းခြင်း (Lateral load test ) တို့ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ 

Dynamic Load Test ကတော့ Pile ထိပ်ကို အလေးတုံး (Hammer) ဖြင့် Free fall လွှတ်ချ စမ်းသပ်ခြင်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။

☘️ Pile Integrity Test

Pile Integrity Test / Continuity Test စမ်းသပ်စစ်ဆေးပြီး Bored pile concrete သားရဲ့ အပြစ်အနာအဆာကင်းစင်မှုကို အတည်ပြုကြပါသည်။ Integrity Test/ continuity test လုပ်ငန်းတွင် Low Strain Impact Test (PIT), Ultrasonic Cross-hole Test (Cross-hole Sonic Logging Test, CSL)နှင့် Thermal Integrity Profiling test (TIP) တို့ဖြင့် စမ်းသပ်စစ်ဆေးကြပါသည်။

 📝Bored pile testing အတွက် MNBC, ASTM နှင့် HPBC guidelines များအတိုင်းလိုက်နာဆောက်ရွက်ရပါမည်။

Bored Pile Testing 

Upon completion of bored pile foundation work, various types of bored pile quality tests must be carried out in accordance with the specified specifications. In bored pile testing, there are primarily two main types: checking the load bearing capacity, strength, and performance (Pile load test) and checking the bored pile concrete for defects (Pile integrity test / Pile continuity test). Even though bored pile work is carried out properly and systematically, there can be uncertainty regarding its quality and load-bearing capacity, making testing and inspection absolutely necessary.

According to HPBC guidelines, the types and minimum number of bored pile tests to be performed are as follows:

🔹Minimum Number of Pile Load Tests for Bored pile

· Instrumental / Ultimate Load Test - 1 No.

· Working Load Test - 1% of Total Number of Bored Piles

· Integrity Test - 50% of Total Number of Bored Piles

📌A Working Load Test (WLT) is a test to see if the pile can carry the load specified by the Designer. According to HPBC guidelines, it is common practice to apply a working load of 2 times the design load (or as per design specification) and check for allowable settlement.

📌An Ultimate Load Test (ULT) is a test of the pile's ultimate bearing capacity. It is tested by applying a load up to 3 times the design load (or as per design specification) until excessive settlement or pile failure occurs.

☘️ Pile Load Test

Pile Load Tests can be divided into two types: Static Load Test and Dynamic Load Test. Static Load Tests include testing with a compressive load (Compression Test), testing with a tensile load (Tension test/ Pullout load test), and testing with a lateral push (Lateral load test). A Dynamic Load Test is performed by dropping a weight(Hammer) in free fall onto the pile head.

☘️ Pile Integrity Test

A Pile Integrity Test / Continuity Test is performed to confirm that the bored pile concrete is free from defects. Integrity/continuity testing is carried out using methods such as the Low Strain Impact Test (PIT), Ultrasonic Cross-hole Test (Cross-hole Sonic Logging Test, CSL), and Thermal Integrity Profiling test (TIP).

📝Bored pile testing must be conducted by following MNBC, ASTM, and HPBC guidelines.
