Mill Certificate

Heat Number

သံရည်ကျိုတဲ့ ဖို (Furnace) ထဲမှာ တစ်ခါကျိုရင် သံချောင်းလုံးတန်ပေါင်းများစွာ ထုတ်လုပ်နိုင်ပါတယ်... သံရည်တခါကျိုတိုင်း Heat number တစ်ခုလို့ သတ်မှတ်၍ Sample ယူပြီးစစ်ဆေးပါတယ်...သက်ဆိုင်ရာ Heat number ကိုကိုယ်စားပြုတဲ့ Sample ရဲ့ chemical property တွေ finished product ရဲ့ Strength property တွေကို Lab testing လုပ်ပြီး Mill certificate မှာ ဖော်ပြထားပါတယ်...ဒါကြောင့် Heat no; ဟာ Quality problem တစ်ခုခုဖြစ်ခဲ့ရင် Production information တွေပြန်လည်ရှာဖွေဖို့ Traceability အတွက် သတ်မှတ်ထားတဲ့ Quality Assurance system တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပါတယ်...Heat no; တစ်ခုနဲ့ ထုတ်လုပ်လိုက်တဲ့ သံချောင်းလုံး Bundles အလိုက် အလွယ်တကူမပျက်စီးနိုင်တဲ့ ရေစိုခံ ကတ်ထူစက္ကူလိုမျိုးမှာ အဆိုပါ Heat no; နဲ့ product information တွေရေးပြီး Tag ချိတ်တွဲပေးလိုက်ပါတယ်...

Mill certificate နှင့် Heat number ဟာ သံချောင်းလုံး rebar ရဲ့ အရည်အသွေးထိန်းသိမ်းရေးလုပ်ငန်းစဉ် QAQC process အတွက် အင်မတန်အရေးကြီးတဲ့ document ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

 Mill Certificate  

A Mill Certificate is an official document issued by steel manufacturers detailing:  
- Chemical composition  
- Physical strength properties  
- Rebar dimensions (size/length)  
- ASTM designation  
- Heat number  
- Batch quantity  
It serves as the manufacturer’s quality guarantee. Every production batch undergoes testing, with results recorded in the certificate provided to vendors/customers. Shipments include tags affixed to rebar bundles with corresponding data. Suppliers/customers cross-verify tag information against the certificate.  

 Heat Number  

Each furnace melt (heat) produces tons of rebar. A unique Heat Number is assigned per melt, with samples tested for:  
- Chemical properties  
- Strength characteristics (yield, tensile, elongation)  
Results are documented in the Mill Certificate.  

 Purpose of Heat Numbers  
Heat Numbers enable traceability for quality assurance:  
- If defects arise, the production batch can be traced.  
- Waterproof tags displaying the Heat Number and product data are attached to rebar bundles.  

Mill Certificates and Heat Numbers are critical for Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) in rebar supply chains.
